It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like... 2019?!?!
It is pretty hard to believe that 2019 is less than a month away... It seems like this year went by in the blink of an eye! With Christmas less than 2 weeks away, it is easy to forget that NYE is immediately after. So many times I find myself scrambling to find the perfect outfit for my New Year's plans because I am so distracted with Christmas shopping. If you've ever found yourself in this situation too, I think it's time we go in together on a New Years Eve resolution... To plan our outfits for NYE BEFORE Christmas this year lol! But in all serious-ness, I am here to help with some of my tips when I find myself shopping for the perfect NYE outfit at the last possible minute.
Here's my pro tips for throwing your NYE outfit together:
Pro Tip 1. Something VINTAGE - I love incorporating vintage pieces into my outfits because you know no one else will be wearing the same thing as you and it just feels a little more special. Also, when you are shopping last minute and you don't want to pay the extra $10 for 2-day shipping, just head to your local thrift store to find a cool, unique piece to style with!
Pro Tip 2. Comfy Shoes - Depending on what your plans are (and how much you will be drinking!), you will probably want to find you a cute pair of comfy shoes! I know that when I have 'one too many' I dance, A LOT, so comfy shoes are essential if I'm going to be rockin the dance floor.
Pro Tip 3. WRISTLET - This is an important one because who the heck wants to be toting around a big ole purse all night?! My advice, find something big enough to hold your phone, important cards, and your lippy but also something small enough to fit in a pocket (aka, make your hubby hold it in his pocket when you get tired of holding it on your wrist).
